Reiki , also known as "Universal Life-Force Energy", is a form of alternative medicine called energy healing. It is channelled by the practitioner to the patient, enabling them to absorb energy at the parts of their body that need it most.
A technique called palm healing or hands-on healing is used by the practitioner through the palms where a "universal energy" is passed to the patient in order to encourage emotional or physical healing. It treats the whole person including body, emotions, mind and spirit.
Reiki can be experienced sitting up or laying down and the client may feel a warm tingly sensation on the area being worked on or may not have any feeling at all.
The Violet flame is a coalesced healing energy of love, mercy, forgiveness and transmutation. The violet flame is considered a form of fire which transmutes energies no longer required by an individual and clears the recipients lifeforce, allowing the healing process. The violet flame neither takes away your area of concern, nor removes all the negativity surrounding you, rather it diverts negative elements into opportunities and changes your perspective. This is achieved by changing your vibration which in essence is "The alchemy of self - transformation".
